Now available for private charter, or to have in addition when chartering the ICON for multi-day vacations, a brand new 30’ foot center console model “SCARAB” has been added to our yacht inventory. The SCARAB was added to our fleet for getting places quick, while allowing our clients to have the most fun possible, and still have the comfortable amenities that comes with yachting. This 30’ foot SCARAB comes fully equipped, and is powered by twin 250HP Evinrude outboards, that allows you to cruise to your destination at a comfortable 45 MPH. With conditions permitting the SCARAB has a top speed of 61 MPH. The Evinrudes are state of the art, and have been designed to be super economical, and with a 288 gallon fuel tank, you have a cruising range of nearly 600 miles.
The boat itself is setup ideally for fishing, and is an anglers dream. With over 20 rod holders, two 15’ outriggers, fore and aft fish boxes, and two 40 gallon bait tanks, this boat is rigged for the most discriminating of angler. However, for those who just want to enjoy a day out on the water, the boat offers a versatile and more comfortable side that allows its passengers to take a ride in style. Ample cushioned seating, with forward bow seating around a removable table that drops down and makes into a large sun pad and allows for up to 6 to ride in total comfort. Consider an afternoon cruise to Avalon for lunch, or maybe take the family for an afternoon of snorkeling and sunbathing while anchored in Laguna Beach’s “Emerald Bay”.
For those who are squeamish about setting foot aboard a boat without proper facilities, this SCARAB is also equipped with a private cabin located inside of the center consol, which surprises most when they find to their delight a full vanity sink, vaccu-flush head, and over 6 feet of head height. Also equipped with a Clarion XM/CD stereo with Ipod docking station, 12 gallon holding tank, and 13 gallon fresh water tank, the boat is great fun for the whole family.
